To be eligible for admission to the Graduate Diploma of Rotary Wing Flight Management, a student must:
- have met the graduation requirements for one of the following programs:
- Bachelor of Aviation (1517)
- Bachelor of Aviation Management (1367)
- Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)/Bachelor of Aviation (1584);
- have successfully completed the Bachelor of Aviation elective course Rotary Wing Operations (3535NSC);
- attend and complete specified preparatory training under the professional development program referred to as Mentoring Aviators through Educational Support (MATES);
- hold a current Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) Class 1 Medical Certificate for a Commercial Pilot Licence (the medical must be carried out by a Designated Aviation Medical Examiner (DAME) and a full list of the DAMEs is available on the CASA website;
- have an Aviation Reference Number (ARN);
- successfully complete the Griffith University Pilot Aptitude Assessment*;
- successfully complete the Graduate Diploma of Rotary Wing Flight Management selection interview.
All students who apply for entry into the Graduate Diploma of Rotary Wing Flight Management are required to complete the Selection Supplement and submit it with their application.
* Information on undertaking the Griffith Aviation Pilot Aptitude Assessment will be available through the MATES program.
