Applicants for the Graduate Certificate in Education (IB) must normally hold an approved bachelor degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution. Applicants should have at least one year of relevant teaching experience.
Masters
Applicants must normally hold an approved bachelor degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution, and be currently employed as a teacher in an International Baccalaureate school
Masters [1.5 years]
Applicants must normally hold a bachelor degree in education, teaching or a closely related discipline, and be currently employed as a teacher in an International Baccalaureate school.
Juris Doctor
Applicants normally must hold one of the following:
Applicants will normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution. The articulated graduate program in GISc is not available to graduates of the Bachelor of Applied Geographical Information Systems or of equivalent undergraduate courses from other tertiary institutions.
Masters (Coursework)
Applicants for the masters must normally hold a bachelor degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution or have completed the Graduate Diploma in Business Administration.
Applicants for the graduate certificate must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution.
Applicants must normally hold a nursing degree or equivalent qualification, be registered nurses, hold a current practising certificate, and have a minimum of one yearâs post-registration experience (six months of which must be in a relevant area).
Graduate Diploma
Applicants for the Master of Nursing must meet the above requirements and have a minimum of two yearsâ post-registration experience.
Applicants must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification, and be registered nurses.
Applicants for the graduate certificates must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution. Applicants for the Graduate Certificate in Aged Care Administration and Graduate Certificate in Health Administration must have at least two yearsâ professional experience in the health or aged care sector following completion of their approved degree or equivalent qualification. Applicants without a degree, who have extensive work experience in the health or aged care sectors and are able to supply documentary evidence, may also be accepted for entry.
Applicants for the graduate diploma must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution. Applicants for the Graduate Diploma in Health Administration must have at least two yearsâ professional experience in the health or aged care sector following completion of their approved degree or equivalent qualification. Graduates of the Flinders Graduate Certificate in Aged Care Administration, Graduate Certificate in Health Administration and Graduate Diploma in Health Administration may also be accepted for entry to the Master of Health Administration once they have gained at least four yearsâ professional experience.
Applicants for the graduate certificates must normally hold a bachelor degree or equivalent from an approved tertiary institution. Candidates with considerable work experience can also be considered for admission to one of our graduate certificates.
Applicants for the graduate diploma must normally hold a bachelor degree or equivalent from an approved tertiary institution. Candidate who have completed one of our graduate certificates but not a bachelor degree or equivalent from an approved tertiary institution will be considered for admission if they have achieved the required GPA.

Applicants for the graduate certificate must normally hold an approved undergraduate degree or equivalent in a health-related area â eg behavioural science, counselling, nursing, occupational therapy, psychology or social work.
Applicants for the graduate diploma must normally hold an approved undergraduate degree or equivalent in a health-related area â eg behavioural science, counselling, medicine, nursing, occupational therapy, psychology or social work.
Applicants for the Graduate Certificate in Education (Cognitive Psychology and Educational Practice) must normally hold an approved bachelor degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution.
Masters (2 years): Applicants must hold an approved bachelor degree or equivalent qualification.
Masters (1.5 years): Applicants must hold a bachelor degree in education, teaching or a closely related discipline.
Applicants for the Graduate Diploma in Nanotechnology must normally hold a degree in any relevant discipline of science or engineering or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution. Students who have completed the four-year undergraduate nanotechnology course at Flinders cannot be admitted to the graduate diploma but may have 36 units of credit towards completion of the masters program. Students who have completed the three-year undergraduate nanotechnology course at Flinders cannot be admitted to the graduate diploma or masters degrees.
Applicants for the Master of Nanotechnology must normally hold a degree in any relevant discipline of science or engineering or equivalent from an approved tertiary institution.
Examples of relevant disciplines include but are not limited to biology, biotechnology, chemical engineering, chemistry, materials engineering, medicine (requiring a minor in a science discipline), or physics. Mathematics and earth sciences are not viewed as relevant areas of science.
