WANTED: University graduates
We’ll be the first to admit it – we’re getting old! Not only do our origins lie with Western Australia’s first Surveyor General in 1829, but our workforce isn’t getting any younger either. That’s why we’re specifically seeking university graduates who are under the age of 25, as a measure to improve our diversity, in line with the Equal Opportunity Act (WA) 1984.
Landgate’s Graduate Program is a structured 2 Year program, and next year’s program commences in February 2023. By Joining a public sector agency renowned for innovative practices, you will gain practical knowledge and experience across our business, laying the foundation for a successful career in the public sector.
In 2023 we are open to graduates from all fields of study, however, qualifications related to Valuations, GIS, Surveying, Spatial Sciences and Data Specialists are highly desired.
Graduates will work on a variety of projects across the business, making use of their individual qualifications, skills, experience, and interests and will work with people who value collaboration, flexibility, and innovation.
During the program you’ll be supported by an experienced mentor from within the business, participate in a tailored professional development program (both on and off the job), build networks with current and past graduates from within Landgate and across the public sector, and have access to our extensive wellbeing program.
We also use this process to fill vacancies around our business. That means you can land your dream job even if you are not selected for a graduate position, how great is that!!
So… what are we really after?
It’s a special kind of person who becomes a successful Landgate graduate. Our best graduates are:
Also, our values are vitally important to how we do our business – you’ll need to be able to demonstrate you are the right cultural fit for our business. You can find out more about our values on our website, as well as more about what we can offer you as an employer.

If you think Landgate is the place for you, all you need to do is:

We believe a diverse workforce improves productivity, generates innovation, encourages creativity, and reflects the community we serve. We encourage people from all diverse backgrounds to apply.
