What is Chevron's Vacation Program?

The Chevron Vacation Program provides 12-weeks of paid vacation employment, giving students the opportunity to participate in our industry-leading oil and gas projects while acquiring practical skills relevant to your field of study.

We provide education and training during the program to help cultivate your skills within a diverse, inclusive, supportive and collaborative workplace.

What we offer

Opportunities exist to work with experienced health, safety and environment (HSE) professionals in activities which support workforce health and safety and the protection of our environment within our operations and the communities where we work.

Following completion of the 12-week program, vacation students who consistently perform above expectations may be considered for full time graduate positions, where roles are available.

Who we are looking for

We encourage applications from motivated and talented university students from Health and Safety disciplines studying an undergraduate, Honours, Masters or PhD, with a keen interest in the oil and gas industry to apply for our Vacation Program.

To be eligible for the Chevron Vacation Program applicants must be:

• In their penultimate year of an undergraduate degree or a postgraduate degree, graduating by the end of 2022
• Excellent communicators with strong analytical skills and a focus on teamwork and collaboration
• Committed to Chevron's values of diversity and inclusion, integrity and trust, high performance, partnership and protecting people and the environment
• Available for the specified duration of employment from 22 November 2021 until 11 February 2022
• Eligible to legally work and live in Australia permanently
