Job Summary

Amazon is a company of builders. A philosophy of ownership carries through everything we do — from the proprietary technologies we create to the new businesses we launch and grow. You’ll find it in every team across our company; from providing Earth’s biggest selection of products to developing ground-breaking software and devices that change entire industries, Amazon embraces invention and progressive thinking. Amazon is continually evolving; it’s a place where motivated employees thrive, and ownership and accountability lead to meaningful results. It’s as simple as this: we pioneer.

The Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) Graduate will have a significant impact on customer experience. The RME Graduate will work with other Engineering Technicians, look at solutions for complex problems, handle multiple projects and daily activities, and meet time lines.

The RME team are at the heart of Amazon’s mission to be Earth’s most customer-centric company. Together, we create, we build, and we take ownership for what we do—whether we’re developing new technology in-house, launching an Amazon fulfilment centre or delighting our customers by ensuring we deliver packages to their doorsteps. We’re constantly creating the ideas, services and tools that make life easier for millions of customers.

In this role you will be providing both a reactive and pro-active maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure within the Fulfilment Centre (FC). The role has a direct impact on the site, it’s productivity and operational success. If equipment is not available or performs badly, it minimizes the capacity and throughput of the site.

Amazon is looking for ambitious, curious and versatile candidates to join our unique world as interns. An Amazon Australia internship will provide you with an unforgettable experience in a fast-paced, dynamic and international environment; it will boost your resume and will provide a superb introduction to our activities.
